Review: Karin Herzog
Tired, stressed out skin? With intense moisture and oxygen, Karin Herzog Oxygen Face Cream soothes ultra-dehydrated skin, bringing back texture and natural glow.
While trying not to set my hopes high, my dry and dull skin appeared relieved at first application. My scaly and blotchy skin seemed placated and more even toned.
Harnessing the power of hyaluronic acid and 1% active oxygen to create the ultimate ally for aging skin, the Karin Herzog skincare line is a favorite of her HRH Kate Middleton.
Dr Herzog’s patented anti-aging technology stabilizes active oxygen into an emulsion. Upon contact with skin, the enzyme, Catalase, works to convert the emulsion into pure oxygen, which is propelled into the skin along with the other active ingredients. This micro-massage effect flushes out debris and toxins, allowing nutrients to be efficiently absorbed through the capillary walls. This boosts the skin’s ability to hydrate and nourish, accelerate cell regeneration and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This technology works synergistically with the powerful moisturizing and collagen producing properties of hyaluronic acid to plump up and renew the skin.
Developed in a Swiss chemistry lab, Karin Herzog has the credentials to put me on an anti-aging crusade.
Oxygen Face, 50 ml – $92
This regulating and normalizing cream containing 2% active oxygen slows down sebum production and purifies the skin deep-down. It fights imperfections and excess sebum, tightening pores and reducing T-zone shine. Irregularities disappear rapidly to leave skin looking smooth, luminous and matt. Recommended for oily skin prone to imperfections.
How to apply
Smooth on a thin layer in the evening to a perfectly cleansed face and neck, ideally using an applicator brush.
Recommendation: Complete this treatment routine with the Mild Scrub 1 to 2 times a week.
