  1. The Phoenix NOT RADIO SOAP – Luxola

Bath Phoenix

You won’t go wrong with this instant pick-me-up exfoliating body wash. By far, the most revitalizing scent of the lot, this product lives up to its name as being capable of getting a phoenix to rise from the ashes. The instruction on the Phoenix – Not Soap Radio reads like a self-help book brimming with optimism eg “Been down so long you think the gutter is the sky?” I would recommend using this formidable citrusy wash sparingly as a little goes a long way.

  1. Leaves of Trees Eucalyptus Seaweed Scrub, $16 –

Bath LeavesofTrees_Scrub_EucalyptusSeaweed

Leaves of Trees skincare takes a serious all-natural approach with unrefined argan oil from Morocco in most of its products. It is founded by Dr Roohi Qureshi, who hand makes all her organic soaps, argan oils and scrubs in her basement studio in historic Queen East strip, near Moss Park in Toronto.

It comes in an elegant apothecary styled glass jar.

Known for its ability to hydrate, protect and soften skin, the argan oil is a boon for dry and damaged skin. It is also non-greasy and very gentle on the skin. Like a protective seal for my skin, this is one scrub that feels like a body moisturizer. Gentle enough to be used on the face, I felt all the dryness disappear within seconds of washing it off my face.

  1. MOR Hand and Body Wash Neroli Clementine, $35

Bath Mor

Mor is an Australian brand that is inspired by tales of ancient civilizations, by-gone eras, travel and art. Neroli, credited as an oil to lift depression and calm the anxious, this body wash is a treat after a hectic day at work.
