Good Morning Francesca Tan – http://francescatan.com/

Q: What is your favorite breakfast?

A: It depends on my mood of the day really, but ultimately I always love a good old bowl of cereal or muesli with my loved ones. Sometimes it’s the comfort food and company that counts!

Q: Is breakfast an important part of your day?

A: Not exactly because I’m not an early riser and I will usually have to rush out of the house for work so most of the time, it’s breakfast-on-the-go / brunch for me instead. But I will always try to make it a point to have my breakfast right during the weekends!

Q: Please share some breakfast recipes/tips?

A: Other than a good bowl of cereal with milk, I really like the scrambled eggs, sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes and rocket leaves combination. I believe it will set your mood right for the day if you have a good, satisfying and hearty breakfast!

Q: What is your favorite breakfast?

If I could, I would have a bowl of warm thick chicken congee with “you tiao”. Oh, & a raw egg cracked into it too!

Q: Is breakfast an important part of your day?

Yes! Nothing can get me out of bed faster than telling me you’ve bought me breakfast & it just sets the entire day right after a good breakfast. :)

Q: Please share some breakfast recipes/tips?

I’m not a big cook so I’ll usually go for overnight oats with fruits & nuts or Greek yogurt with cereals/fruits. For Overnight oats, just soak your uncooked rolled oats with milk and throw in cut up pieces of fruits and chuck it in the fridge overnight. The next morning just add in granola bits or almond, cashew, macadamia nuts to give a crunch to it! You can try sprinkling a teaspoon of cinnamon powder over it too. I love that.
