Let it Snow

It’s snowing on the Christmas Glass House of the Orchard Hotel (next to DelfiOrchard).  So, get into the White Christmas mood and shop for your roasts, sweet treats and hampers in the lobby next to the ginormous tree.

We assure you the food is excellent. We got a pre-Christmas tasting to celebrate the light-up of their 15-foot tall live Christmas tree and everything was yummy!

Their new Peranakan Executive Chef Andy Cheah’s creations are –

Roast Turkey Sioh with Chestnut stuffing and Jasmine rice in Nyonya Ketumbar Spices including sautéed sweet potatoes and sambal Brussels sprouts (about $180 w tax)

Roast Leg of Lamb with Moroccan Spices ($201 w tax)

Glazed Assam Honey Ham with Javanese Palm Sugar ($158 w tax)

On the sweet front are:

Coconut & Pandan Log Cake (about $73 w tax)

Durian Alaskan with Burnt Italian Meringue (about $73 w tax)

Chocolate Delice Forest Berries Biscuit & Caramelised Crispies Log Cake ($94 w tax)
