Dental Brushing Tips
Growing up we hear and read about a lot of different ways we can brush our teeth – all very confusing and not much help. Dr Low Li Yong from Bright Smile Dental Surgery shares simple dental brushing tips to finally get us brushing right for healthy teeth and gums:
1. First, you need a small head toothbrush.
2. To clean the junction between teeth and gum where plaque builds up, tilt your brush at a 45% angle.
3. Daily flossing is essential as just brushing cannot reach all parts of our teeth.
4. Alternatively, you can use an interdental brush (the little brush that resembles a Christmas tree) instead of flossing but be prepared to replace it every 1-2 weeks.
