8 Habits for Easier Living

A few changes can make a huge difference…
- Get at least 8 hours of sleep
: Sufficient sleep helps refresh the mind – if your brain were a computer, this is a way to reboot.
- Drink water as soon as you wake up
: After a night’s sleep, your body is dehydrated, so replenish with a big glass of water to improve skin, mood and health.
- Organize something
: Clear out small things every day, and your whole life will be organized before you know it.
- Buy someone a gift for no reason
: Brightening someone’s day will also brighten yours.
- Write something
: You took notes in class for easier recall. Do it again now that you’re faced with information overload. This will improve memory and mood (you’ll be less irritable from mental clutter) in the long run.
- Read at bedtime
: Reading helps you sleep better. But avoid thrillers and anything likely to keep you up instead of sending you to dreamland.
- Wrap your earphone cord in a figure 8
: This keeps cords from tangling. For instructions, visit http://www.instructables.com/id/Neatly-wrap-cords-without-ties-or-tangle…
- Keep a running list of things you have accomplished
: Get a satisfying kick from crossing off one more thing from your task list.
